Potototan Island / Calamianes

 

 

Potototan Island is situated right in the middle of a Government protected area.

Surrounded by Coralreef´s, desert Islands and white beaches.

 

It is the last island NW of Calamian Island group, with South Chinese sea

on one side and Zulu Sea on the other.

 

From coral Bay, you are close to everything worht seeing;

All within 20 min. - 2 hours

 

 

On your chosen boat tours / Island hopping, you pay for the boat!

That means, if you choose to go with others, your trip can be very, very cheap.

you can also choose the luxury to go by your self, -

Rates for tours are posted below island tours.

 

When you go, we will make sure, that you bring Lunch, water, tea & coffee. Any other wishes we will

make sure is there for you.

 

It is always a good idea, to choose your tour, when you arrive;

Maybe the waves are to wild for your chosen destination, and another will be more relaxed.

Maybe you find another trip and another day / time better !

Or, maybe you will find Coral Bay, with its many free activities enough...

Activities are specified under menu activities.

Here you will find rates or free of charge things to do.

 

Visit the Village - Maglalambay.

Fishermen returning with the catch of the day, - Cleaning nets and drying fish.

Get a beer at the local bar.. And maybe attend the Chicken fight on Sundays.

 

If you walk - it takes you around 45 min. to get there, and you will pass farmers on the way.

 

 

 

 

 

Our Diveshop offer everything from Advanced Tec Diving to Discovery scuba to All kind of courses.

It is a Certified PADI Dive Center and a certified SDI / TDI Center.

 

If you want to try, - we deduct your Discovery scuba dive from your Open Water certificate price, if you choose to go for it.

If you start a Open water  course, and regret, you just pay for your Discovery scuba dive.

 

Dive tours are always made in small groups, with max. 4 people in a group....Unless you already are in larger group, and want to dive together...Only on Wrecks we do not allow more than max. 4 people per group.

 

We also offer swimming lessons, Snorkeling lessons, - or even lessons in water fear, - How to handle your fear..

Trekking is one of the musts !

You will meet so many different landscapes, flowers, orkids, birds and animals on your way. hidden beaches with the most magnificent view .

Small fisherman houses here and there, - watch them drying fish and maybe taste their home made Coconut wine...

 

Kayaking is "trekking on the water" - here you can go by sea, anchor up by the small beaches, take a small walk into the jungle, continue your kayaking and maybe find your own reef for snorkeling.

 

Just behind the Resort, we have our own private Mangrove Forest. Here we counted 62 different Birds.

We have Lizards...Not dangerous...at 2m length,

Oh, - We forgot.....No wild dangerous animals, who attack you for fun, you do not have to be afraid....

 

 

 

We have a lot of deep water for fishing. You can choose a paddleboat, and go like the natives, or

you can rent a speedboat or a motorized banca.

We have life jackets available for free, if you are not as a fish in the water - And we offer swimming and snokeling lessons....
